Taking a step back.
It is amazing how quickly things can change. This year is
already turning into one of many changes for Burn In Designs and it is only beginning.
2013 ended with us setting a new high in sales, several great product launches,
building a great customer base from all over the world and meeting fans face to
face at events like Adepticon. Not too bad for a company just starting out.
With all those milestones, we have much farther to go get where I see us going.
There are so many designs that we want to show you and so much more we are
going to do. The Federation City Expansion with wrecked buildings, Welcome to
Rock Ridge Series 2, The Skyway Project and Mars Terra Station. There are a lot
of big changes in our future.
However, to get there we need to actually slow things down a
bit. We are just too small for our plans to really take off if we keep up this
pace. We are going to scale back things a bit starting today. We are taking
time off to build the infrastructure necessary increase the production speed
and quality of all our products. We will be back in about 6 weeks bigger and
stronger.
So what does that really mean? Well first up, we are not
accepting any new orders. I know it isn't the best idea but handling orders and
building at the same time just doesn't work. Outstanding orders are being
completed as possible and refunds will be issued for any that we are not able
to complete in a timely fashion or that do not hold up to the quality standards
we have set.
Fear not we will return. I have never been one to walk away
from a challenge and I hate to lose. Those of you willing to stand with us
through this will see some great things.
